Saltgrass has an engaging affair with fine cuisine. Meticulously selected Creole Cajun-inspired dishes are served daily by our experienced chefs. All meals are included for guests of the Lodge and are accompanied by beer and wine in the Cypress Room. Activity lunches and drinks are prepared for the next day’s itinerary. Craving some fresh Louisiana oysters? With prior notification, the Lodge happily offers an oyster bar (at additional cost) where fresh, salty oysters are shucked and offered raw, or the chef may prepare an assorted platter of different recipes.

Meet Chef Caterina

At Saltgrass, you can sit back and relax while the staff prepares your meals. Our experienced chefs seasonally craft the mouthwatering menu selection. Chef Caterina is a fan favorite at the lodge, and her dishes always leave guests wanting more. You’ll occasionally find her husband and Saltgrass Groundskeeper, Nicolas, assisting with shrimp boils and fish frys. Please let our chef know if you have any allergies or food sensitivities prior to arrival, and our kitchen will do our best to accommodate your needs. We only ask that you arrive with an appetite and maybe postpone any diet plans.
